What are the best workout routines?
The ones you haven’t done over and over again.
Yes, if you are experiencing any discomfort in your body and you have been doing the same workout routines ‘like, forever’, chances are it’s your workout routine contributing to your body’s aches and pains. Even a workout routine that has daily variations becomes a workout ‘rut’ after a while; upper body on Monday, cardio on Tuesday and Thursday, lower body on Wednesday, cross-training on Friday.
Doing the same thing over and over again will not produce new results.
How do you tell if I need to change up your workout routine?
If you are going through your workout routine mindlessly, NOW is the time to make a change!
If you are not mentally focused on your workout routine, your body is no longer benefitting from the workout, either.
So, barring any major restrictions such as a weak back or bad knees, change up your exercise routine! Quarterly changes will keep your brain and body feeling fresh!
